Missionary Fellowship Night
NEXT MEETING: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2022
6:30pm at the PMC Gathering Place

“Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom shall I send as a messenger to my people? Who will go?” And I said, “Lord, I’ll go! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

You are warmly invited to join Missionary Fellowship on the evening of Sunday, February 6 at 6:30pm. The purpose of this evening is to nurture a missional vision and help think of ways to support the work of the Kingdom of God both locally and globally. The evening will also feature baked treats and warm beverages.

MISSION QUOTES
“Mission is anything that anyone does anywhere to expand the kingdom of God.”
-Christian Åkerhelm
“Mission arises from the heart of God himself, and is communicated from his heart to ours. Mission is the global outreach of the global people of a global God.”
-John Stott
“To know the will of God, we need an open Bible and an open map.”
-William Carey
“It is not so much the case that God has mission for his church in the world, as that God has a church for his mission in the world. Mission was not made for the church; the church was made for mission–God’s mission.”
-C.J.H. Wright
“Never concede to doing something so small that it could be accomplished entirely in your lifetime. Be a part of something that began before you were born, and will continue onward toward the fulfillment of all that God has purposed to accomplish.”
-Ralph Winter
“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”
-Jim Elliot
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
-Mother Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu
“The missionary heart: Care more than some think is wise. Risk more than some think is safe. Dream more than some think is practical. Expect more than some think is possible. I was called not to comfort or success but to obedience… There is no joy outside of knowing Jesus and serving him.”
–Karen Watson
